New Cycle: January 13 - March 16!
How we're measuring success in 2025
Congrats on Finishing 2024 with a Bang!
What a year it’s been! As we wrap up 2024, we want to take a moment to congratulate everyone on their hard work and dedication. This year, we spent a lot of time honing in on the Olympic Lifts, got introduced to the fundamentals of Functional Fitness, and grew our community to full classes and lots of new friends. It’s been a year of growth, learning, and pushing ourselves, and we couldn’t be more excited about what lies ahead!
As we finish our last transition week of the holiday season, we are gearing up for the start of our new Conditioning Phase, running from January 13 – March 16. This phase will focus on improving your aerobic capacity while maintaining strength. It will also take us through the Competition Season, so expect a big focus on technique practice for key skills and movements. More information on the competition below.
Also beginning this cycle, we’ll be repeating one workout from each training phase going forward. This gives you more opportunities to retest and measure your progress with each cycle. Not only will we retest lifts, but we’ll also revisit specific metcons that will be voted on by the community, giving you a chance to track your improvements in various areas.
We’re also excited to announce that we’ll be hosting Movement Seminars on the fourth Saturday of every month from 10 AM to 12 PM. These seminars are FREE to members and just a $20 drop-in fee for non-members. Each seminar will focus on a specific movement, offering progressions, personalized feedback, and the chance to get your first (or many more) reps of that movement. Our January seminar will be all about the Bar Muscle Up on January 25 from 10 AM to 12 PM. Be sure to register via your ZenPlanner app or talk to a coach if you’re interested!
